January 20, 2026 — A Portable Health Clinic (PHC) Maternal and Child Care training program will be held in Port Sudan on January 22-28, 2026. The initiative aims to strengthen the skills of frontline health workers in providing essential maternal and child health services using the PHC model, which combines basic medical screening tools with telehealth support. The training will focus on improving preventive care and early detection of health issues among mothers and children in underserved communities. The program brings together healthcare professionals and local health workers to enhance maternal, newborn, and child health outcomes in regions facing ongoing healthcare challenges.
